PARIS PRÊT-À-PORTER SPRING/SUMMER 2021...

Against all odds.... No matter the challenges that life presents to us, there will always be time & space to celebrate beauty, creativity, craftsmanship, fashion and style. Yes, against all odds Spring/Summer 2021 collections, from New York to Paris, became a reality. How awesome is that?! The adventure must go on! 

Most of Paris prêt-a-porter Spring / Summer 2021 reflected optimism, playfulness, artsy vibes, surrealism, fantasy, sensibility; and this time in particular, a special attention to comfort-dressing was undoubtedly payed. 

Of course, there were the almost-all black & white  collections; but still, there was extra charm ineverything. 

Here some trends to get inspired with...

GORGEOUS WHITE

Impecable white dresses in the most beautiful and  delicate fabrics, for every style and occasion. From breezy, romantic, day-time midi gowns to spectacular elegant soirée-ready ones. (Elie Saab)

GOLDEN JEWELRY

Magnificent, attention-grabbing golden jewelry and accessories; impregnated with great panache recalling divine Roman, Greek or surrealist airs. Particularly awesome those from Schiaparelli, Dior and Elie Saab. (Schiaparelli)

So many fabulous tailored suits, mostly with a more relaxed feel. Covetable asymmetric jackets, loose or structured lines; and the forever-classic navy blue striped duo with white sneakers. Perfect! (Officine Général)

Ethnic-inspired, nonchalant looks built on lovely layering; including reveling tops, dusters, spacious shirts and bottoms; eclectic details and accessories; in earthy or vibrant tones and rich prints and patterns. (Dior)

FABULOUS MILAN SPRING/SUMMER 2021 FASHION...

After all these months one wondered how the runways would be like.... But it is crystal clear, no one and nothing can stop the creative power of the extraordinary human being. 

Milan runways and collections were gorgeous! So special! 

Without any doubt, creativity is very much fed in times when one is pushed out of the comfort zone. While some collections reflected ease and sublime timelessness; others mirrored a deep desire to take it further, to scape through fantasy and edge. So wonderful!

MONOCHROMATIC LAYERING

Perfect monochromatic layering of beautiful, ultra tasteful pieces. A fantastic mix of fits, from very loose to superb tailored ones. (Boss)

FLORALS

Spectacular vaporous, long and very feminine dresses in floral prints. Especially marvelous were those ruffled ones in Valentino’s collection.... So exciting to see Valentino in Milan! ❤️ (Valentino)

SATIN SUITING

High-shine satin suits; some tailored and others with easy fits; either in neutral tones or ultra loud colors, prints and patterns. (Versace)

Let’s keep moving... Remember what the great Einstein said? "Life is a riding bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving".
