FABULOUS MILAN SPRING/SUMMER 2021 FASHION...

After all these months one wondered how the runways would be like.... But it is crystal clear, no one and nothing can stop the creative power of the extraordinary human being.

Milan runways and collections were gorgeous! So special!

Without any doubt, creativity is very much fed in times when one is pushed out of the comfort zone. While some collections reflected ease and sublime timelessness; others mirrored a deep desire to take it further, to scape through fantasy and edge. So wonderful!

Here some delightful trends...

MONOCHROMATIC LAYERING
Perfect monochromatic layering of beautiful, ultra tasteful pieces. A fantastic mix of fits, from very loose to superb tailored ones. (Boss)

FLORALS
Spectacular vaporous, long and very feminine dresses in floral prints. Especially marvelous were those ruffled ones in Valentino’s collection.... So exciting to see Valentino in Milan! ❤️ (Valentino)

SATIN SUITING
High-shine satin suits; some tailored and others with easy fits; either in neutral tones or ultra loud colors, prints and patterns. (Versace)

BAGGY PIECES
Comfortable but very stylish baggy dresses, separates and coats; all of them with special details and so much charm. (Ports 1961)

LOVELY DENIM
Great denim dresses, coordinates and bottoms  in colorful washes, mix-matching tones, tie-die, patchwork, and finishing detailing. (Alberta Ferretti)

COLOR BLOCKING
Wonderful classic garments in monochromatic hues played through divine color-blocking. A fabulous melange of brights, neutrals and pastels. (Fendi)

ULTRA-BUSY PRINTS AND PATTERNS
From casual to high-fashion looks with ultra busy, multicolored, loud prints & patterns; including hardcore mix-matching, paneling and patchwork. (Dolce & Gabbana)

SUMMERY STRIPPED SUIT
Fresh, comfortable striped suits; many in classic off-whites and navy; with crisp blouses, asymmetric lines, charming sleeves and belts. (Brunello Cucinelli)

EXTENDED SLEEVES
Shirts, knitted tops, sweaters, sweatshirts and coats with wonderful, edgy and stylish extended sleeves. (No. 21)

Life is runway!
Much love,

Gaby
