My dear readers, today we close a precious year; full of experiences that have made us grow into more complete and hopefully better human beings.
For most of us FASHION and more importantly, STYLE have been crucial parts of our journey. How can they not be; since they reveal our essence, they reveal who we are; and certainly that is how it should be. But, isn’t it BEAUTY what we really search for? And the truth is that BEAUTY is already in us and it is up to us to bring it out and to share it with the world. 1.REAL BEAUTY IS THE REFLEXION OF A BEAUTIFUL HEART: Being thoughtful,
truthful and caring will always be our best accessories in life. Clothes will
never make us good human beings; it is what is under those clothes that will.
2.STYLE MUST REVEAL OUR TRUE SELVES: Appreciate your gifts
and flaws; because they are what make you that unique, wonderful person.
3.STYLE IS SOMETHING TO BE OWN; NOT TO BE COPIED OR BORROWED:
Honor who you genuinely are, because you, darling, are uh-mazing just for being
you, celebrate it!
4.STAY OPEN & EMBRACE EVOLUTION UNTIL YOU ‘CREATE YOURSELF’:
Our tastes, fashion preferences and style evolve with the years and with our
life experiences. Always, always, listen to what your sensitive heart tells you
in terms of what you ‘really like’ when it comes to clothes and your looks. We
must ‘create who we want to be’; follow your instincts and, again, follow your
heart.
5.TRUE BEAUTY, FASHION SENSE AND STYLE ARE ALWAYS ACCOMPANIED
BY GOOD MANNERS & CLASS: There is infinite value in the way we treat and respect
others and ourselves, and in how we behave and respond to every situation. GOOD
MANNERS and CLASS are treasures for life.
6.For those of us who deeply appreciate ELEGANCE; let us
remember what our beloved YSL used to say: ‘ONE MUST NEVER CONFUSE ELEGANCE
WITH SNOBBERY’: ELEGANCE is something we either have or not. If we look down at someone, it must be only to help that person get up.
