With deep
sadness on September 4th the world heard the news about Joan
Molinsky’s, or Joan Rivers as we all knew her, passing from her daughter
Melissa. Personally still brokenhearted, today I feel the need to dedicated
some lines in my blog to this very special women; who not only opened doors to
women as comedians and changed the curse of fashion forever through the red
carpet pre-awards shows and the Fashion Police; but taught so many of us that
HUMOR, STYLE and TRUTH are three ingredients we need to make it joyfully and
fully through this journey called life.
Dear Joan,
there are so many things to thank you for… As you used to say, you always talked
to your public as you talked to a friend, making us feel that we knew you and vice
versa. You showed us there is no better way to speak up and loud TRUTH than through
HUMOR; that it is HUMOR that will help us deal better and happier with life. Of course, you also taught us that with STYLE
is how one exists to the max! 
We have learnt from all of those around you that even
though your spiced-up, satirical and even politically incorrect jokes were
always there; you were a thoughtful, caring, loving and deep hearted lady;
permanently ready to help others heal and overcome hard paths with laughter, courage
and hard work; as you set the best example!
You were
and will always be a role model and mentor to me. You inspired me to dare to
speak up my thoughts with truth and honesty, and through them try to help
others. You helped me realize that life was actually a runway! I am so thankful
for all of it. Rest in peace my dear and beloved Joan. I will always keep you in my
heart. Love you forever…
