NEW YORK FASHION INSPIRATION FROM SPRING 2023 COLLECTIONS

It is such a delight this feeling of regained-freedom after covid days…We are so ready to go around looking our best; ready to live more intensely and much more grateful than before. Aren’t we?

Well, New York Spring 2023 collections delivered lovely inspiration to look forward to. And this is just the beginning. Mmmmm….

THE OVERSIZE BLAZER
Oversize blazers, curated to brilliantly accompany gorgeous nonchalant, sensual ensembles. In neutral, vibrating and shinny tones. Superb! (Michael Kors)

DENIM PANACHE
Cool, very relaxed but still ultra-stylish denim pieces in wonderful washes and tones, layered to perfection. (Altuzarra)

BRIGHT COORDINATED SEPARATES
Modern separates, many with clean lines and simple yet upgraded details, in fabulous bright shades. (Lela Rose)

ASYMMETRIC DELIGHT
Great asymmetric pieces; strategically teamed through their clashing silhouettes, hues, textures and styles. (Proenza Schouler)

THE WHITE SUIT
Fresh, on-point white and off-white suits; mixing feminine and masculine charm in such a delightful manner. (Libertine)

MIXED STRIPES
Head-to-toe stripes in beautiful varied widths, colors and combinations; on classic, casual or sporty looks. Specially lovely, those with large floral motifs. (Bibhu Mohapatra)

SIMPLY MESH
From clean-lined dresses and coordinates to standout, sensual looks with edgy detailing in mesh. Mesh is still a big role-player on the runways! (Jason Wu)

FOLDED WAISTS
Standout, yet very wearable folded waist-lines; paired with easy or edgy tops; some accompanied by cute belts for that ‘extra something’. (Anonlychild)

TROUSERS + BEAR MIDRIFF
Nonchalant trousers teamed with cropped tops, sweaters and jackets; beautifully showing off the perfect amount of skin. (Tibi)

FLOWERY SETS
From elegant silky sets all the way to casual cotton ones; in fresh, happy tones. My favorites, those with shorts as bottoms. (Derek Lam 10 Crosby)

COMFORTABLE VOLUME
Playful though still very stylish voluminous looks with plenty of asymmetric lines, tiers and cuts. Either in loud shades or neutral, classic colors. (3.1 Phillip Lim)

 BRALETTES + ROMANTIC SKIRTS
Lovely, feminine bralettes with romantic A-line skirts; as monochromatic, patterned or multicolor looks. (Adam Lippes)

Life is a runway!

Much love,

Gaby
