PARIS PRÊT-À-PORTER SPRING 2026 TRENDS

Apparently simple or over-the-top cuts, lines, silhouettes, combinations and styles; purified or très mélangés; loud & artsy, or quiet but incredibly striking…. French sartorial brilliance and savior-faire always meet at that timeless enamoring ´je ne sais quoi’; that is what Paris runways are about.. Is it not? Toujours superb!

Here some key trends from the Spring 2026 prêt-à-porter collections…

B&W PERFECTION
Gorgeous tailored suits & tuxedos, or dresses with spectacular jackets; pairing the eternal sexy, elegant (and very Parisian) duo: Black & white. Perfection! (Givenchy)

LADY-BIKER
Sassy and full of character leather pieces and ensembles, inspired in the bikers’ world. (Saint Laurent)

BULKY KNITS
Great knitted bulky tops, sweaters, jackets, dresses, and keep-us-warm accessories in standout or tamed hues. Their asymmetric lines, layering and styling were key. (Louis Vuitton)

BOW NECKS
Ribbons charmingly tied on the neckline were all over. From delicate & small, to flashy & oversized; on casual tops and dresses all the way to evening gowns. (Christian Dior)

NAKED SLEEVES
Playful cuts and openings on sleeves transmitted airs of inviting, refreshed modernity and wonderful style. (Courrèges)

DROPPED BELTS
Medium to low-rise waisted pants & skirts; so many accompanied by dropped belts in varied widths and styles for every personality. (Chanel)

WIDE & SLOUCHY
Well thought, brilliantly put together sets and ensembles with nonchalant wide and slouchy silhouettes. (Stella McCartney)

CUDDLING RUFFLES
Rich, asymmetric ruffles hugging the body in strategic areas, created magnificent artsy contours. (Dries Van Noten)

URBAN NOMAD
Relax, bohemian, irreverent Parisian urban-chic; played through easy fits, rich layering, organic fabrics, handcrafted details, and a lot of warm tones. (Isabel Marant)

NATURE-INSPIRED
Feminine, subtle prints, patterns & motifs; especially lovely on matching-sets and gowns. (Giambattista Valli)

TROMPE-L’ŒIL
A delightful game of deceiving-the-eye through magnificent artful designs, silhouettes, cuts, drapes, prints, patterns, embroideries and detailing. (Elsa Schiaparelli)

BLACK SIMPLICITY
Clean total-looks in full black, accentuating the infinite relevance of timeless, forever-tasteful simplicity. (Mugler)

UN-FINISHED
Great deconstruction, inside-out finishings, patch-work intentionality, multilayers of very finished-unfinished pieces and ensembles looked so artsy & fantastic! (Sacai)

FUTURISTIC NOTES
A mélange of gorgeous total-elegance, beyond-this-world mystery, sharp lines, and detailing; in dark or vibrant shiny tones. (Tom Ford)

Life is a runway…

Much love,
