MANUS X MACHINA
Every year the Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York
delights the public with its spectacular fashion exhibit, always well thought
and delicately curated. This year its theme invites us to get inspired by the
fascinating evolution of the dressmaking; from the handmade to the machine-made
Haute Couture and later avant-garde ready-to-wear pieces. Tradition and
technology have become one perfect pair for all the fashion adorers. Cheers to
that!
JOIN THE HAVANA CLUB
For more than half a century we have seen our dear
Cuban fellows going through a very harsh communist system. Now things are starting
to change after the embargo, that alienated them from the rest of us, started
to vanish. But the Cuban land has not lost its tropical warmth and magic. So
true is this that even Karl Lagerfeld was ready to show off his Chanel Resort
2017 collection here. Pure freshness, colorfulness, dynamism, 50’s charm and
easy-breeze fashion that smells like freedom is what are taking from all of
these. Perfect!

fantasy in 1865; Walt Disney did the same in 1951, then Tim Burton took over
the role… Today, Alice in Wonderland is part of our heart; part of our
