Award season is on. How amazing to start the year with
it! Watching all those actresses, actors, directors, musicians, artists that
make us dream big thanks to their work, walking on the red carpets… Mmmmm… It is
so inspiring and exciting. The fashion, glamour, the attitude and pizzazz
involved in the award season always leave everyone simply wanting for more.
So, here some of the early fashion and style
highlights to consider and absorb in this everyday runway we called life from the early 2016's red carpets…
MESSY HAIR
I strongly believe that style and fashion today is all
about looking true to our personal essence… While we all have to work on
looking the best version of ourselves, we must pay attention to never overdo it
and to stay away from appearing pretentious. MESSY HAIR, well thought and done
of course; is a total go-for now; and we can see how the most gorgeous ladies
and gentlemen on the red carpet are very committed to it.
AU NATUREL MAKE-UP
In the same line of thought about looking our honest,
non-pretentious selves; the look-like AU NATUREL MAKE-UP (obviously far from careless)
is another winner style inspiration. It is definitely a key reminder that it is
all about highlighting our gifts!
STRATEGIC JEWELRY
Though the jewelry stars wear on the red carpet are
mostly lent just for the soirée (while security guards keep an eye on every
move the lucky wearers make); we are not seeing over-the-top, extremely
exaggerated jewelry anymore. Clearly, today it has to do with STRATEGIC JEWELRY
pieces that accompany the personality of the celebrities and their lovely
dresses and tuxedoes. Take note!

Either through cut-outs, sheer fabrics, beading or

over and over that no matter what people wear; if they do not OWN THEIR LOOKS
the magic does not appear nor flow. The lesson here is that we must wear what
pleases us and what make us feel and look real, even if it is ‘the real us’ of
our greatest dreams.
LEARN TO LAUGH
Life is not perfect, nor always the way we plan;
therefore dressing up cannot be taken too seriously. Fashion and style should
always be and feel fun and joyful. So, if any mishap (let’s say a run on a seam,
for example) gets on our way; we can take it as a lesson; learn to laugh at
your perfectly-imperfect self, while try to solve every situation creatively
and always with humor!
