Yesterday, our beloved Dominican-born fashion designer, Oscar de la Renta, passed away. Today we have woken up with very sore hearts; but the legacy that this incredibly special gentleman left will live in us forever.
Monsieur de la Renta’s art, because that was what he created; has represented and eternally will represent the epitome of the most regal elegance, sophistication, femininity and supreme taste. He honored women and was genuinely inspired by their silhouette, confidence and kindness; always praising the value of every lady’s individuality.
Especially for the Latin fashion community our dear Oscar became one of the greatest inspirations of all times. He set an example for us all.
Lovely Oscar, we cannot thank you enough… You will live in our hearts until the end of times. Rest is peace.
